Membership

by HCC April 12, 2017

The HCC’s membership is open to Caribbean-based, regional and national civil society organisations and alliances including (but not limited to) associations, foundations, groups, universities and unions whether directly engaged in or specifically focused on NCDs or otherwise, but which, generally, embrace health and wellness and which, when appointed, will subscribe to and support the HCC’s principal objective.

Institutions/organizations with links or repeated, direct engagement with industries which are linked to obesity and/or NCDs including tobacco, alcohol, and ultra processed foods (essentially industries which partake in activities and have goals deleterious to public health) are not accepted as members of the coalition. At present, no fee is attached to being a member of the HCC.

Individuals can stay informed about the work of the HCC by subscribing to our weekly news roundup mailing list here.

We are currently auditing our membership database, updating info on active members and inviting new members to become part of the HCC. We will undertaking this audit between Jan – June 2023 after which which we will update the membership listing.

See a list of our current members.
