The purpose of this Webinar is to provide theoretical and practical elements, so that the participants recognize the importance of the calculation of the annual per capita consumption of alcohol (APC), as a key indicator for the monitoring of trends and policies in alcohol consumption at the national level; to present as a complementary learning tool, the course hosted in the Virtual Campus of Public Health “Estimation of alcohol consumption per capita in the Americas”.

Objectives:

– Deepen the theoretical understanding of per capita alcohol consumption, highlighting the APC indicator as a tool for monitoring the effectiveness of public policies.

– Develop practical skills for the calculation and analysis of the APC indicator.

– Demonstrate the applicability and relevance of the APC indicator in integrating health policies and achieving global objectives and targets, encouraging participation in the available virtual campus courses.
